About this site

I'm Jerimiah Ham. I've tested software since 1997 — nearly thirty years — and I've been an SDET since 2014. These days that means QA management and senior SDET work, which mostly amounts to building tools nobody asked for and everybody ends up using.

What's here

• Testing — Android and iOS automation, device farms, CI, and the specific ways test infrastructure fails at 2am.
• Homelab — a three-node Proxmox cluster running more services than it reasonably should, and write-ups of the parts that were harder than they needed to be.
• Apps — things I've built and released, including a Mac app for burning MP3 CDs.

I'm also the founder of quern.dev, an AI-first domain harness for coding agents working on mobile: unified device logs, network capture and control, so an agent can see what it's doing instead of guessing.

No newsletter

There's no mailing list and no sign-up. If you want to know when something new appears, there's an RSS feed. That's the entire subscription mechanism.
